Our events bring joy and excitement, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Event Assistant to help us make each occasion special. We are a family-owned small business located in the Morrow Arts Center, a community of small businesses voted as the best Family Shopping Center by Cincy Magazine’s 2024 Parent’s Choice Awards!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Event Assistant to join our team for various in-store events throughout the holiday season. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with families, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to our community-oriented events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with event décor and setup to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Facilitate activities and engage with children and families.
- Capture photos and videos to promote our events on social media.
- Support checkout processes during busy event times.
- Help manage and transport supplies throughout the venue during building-wide events.
- Communicate effectively with other businesses in the building to ensure seamless event coordination.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to enhance the overall event experience.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and families.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule.
- Comfortable using social media for capturing event moments.
- Prior experience in event support or customer service is a plus.

Schedule:
Events occur 2-3 times per month, with varying hours depending on the event schedule.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
