Welcome to Main Street Toy Co, your go-to for all things playful designed with the magic of childhood in mind! We are a family owned business founded by a mom with a passion for creating magical moments and curating the perfect gifts for little ones. Nestled in the heart of the online shopping universe, we take pride in curating collections that cater to the whimsical imaginations from babies to tweens.

 

From the moment I became a mom, I was both overwhelmed and fascinated by the baby and kid product industry. In a market full of innovation, I found myself gravitating toward the small business brands as I shopped for gifts for birthdays, baby showers and holidays. There was something irreplaceable about the process from seeing the ideas behind the concepts and the company's "why" to getting handwritten letters from them wishing my children joy in the package. 

What started as researching brands of open play and development toys for my youngest daughter and trendy toys and accessories for my oldest daughter, quickly became an interest in everything baby to tween. I was missing a purpose to all of this knowledge until I saw a dollhouse shop on Main Street closing its doors and without ever having the thought before, I called the owner and asked to tour it to make it a toy shop. I didn't have a business to put in it, but I had this clear vision of a kids shop with my most loved brands and an open space where kids can play with my products before they buy it. It took another year and a half before we made our first inventory order, so needless to say we didn't end up taking the storefront on Main Street, but the name "Main Street Toy Co" was one I chose not for that location, but for the idea of a family owned toy shop in a small town on Main Street where my girls would pass by on the school bus and be proud of.
